Letter: Bad air and no relief in sight

(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune) The inversion, on North Canyon road behind the Utah State Capitol, Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019.

As we watch the quality of our air deteriorate grossly and experience the dire consequences to our health, our legislators seem to be moving forward with the inland port fiasco, which is sure to exacerbate this problem exponentially.

It looks to me like most of us in the Salt Lake City area do not want the inland port. Seriously?! Is this really going to happen? How can commerce be more important than human lives?
