Letter: Vaping has become an epidemic

Vaping was supposed to be an alternative to smoking, a way to quit smoking. But it’s become something very different from that. It’s become an epidemic, especially within the youth.
More and more kids are being hospitalized each year due to vaping related causes. It’s sad to see so many young people vaping and putting their health at risk. So little is known about vaping and all of its side-effects, but we do know that it is doing harmful damage. We just aren’t sure how much damage is being done.
We must work together to save our youth and their futures before it’s too late.
