Letter: I voted for Huntsman twice. Not again.
(Leah Hogsten | The Salt Lake Tribune) Former two-term Gov. Jon Huntsman, 59, who announced his bid for governor, Nov. 14, 2019 greets students at the Michael O. Leavitt Center for Politics and Public Service at Southern Utah University in Cedar City on Thursday.
So, Jon Huntsman wants to be Utah governor again. Let me make sure I understand correctly.
He was elected governor twice. Shortly after his second election he resigned to become ambassador to China. He then resigned from that post to run for president. Then, he became ambassador to Russia, only to resign that post to return to Utah to run for governor.
I voted for Huntsman twice. He was an excellent governor. However, all this is just a little too schizophrenic for me. I'll never vote for him again.
