To Sens. Mitt Romney and Mike Lee and Rep. Chris Stewart:
Our government is betraying an ally, the Kurds, as I write.
Do not rubber-stamp this action by our president.
To this date, you have, by your silence, encouraged his many impulsive, capricious actions.
Gun violence, polluting the environment and caging children are only three of many other un-American and dangerous policies which you have passively condoned.
You do not represent me or my understanding of human values.
I pray that soon you can see your way to stand for our values, and by opposing the president, bring America back.
