Letter: Reyes should go after robo calls

(Rick Bowmer | AP file photo) Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes speaks during a news conference, Aug. 29, 2019, in Salt Lake City. Reyes was forced into a June 30 primary with Utah County Attorney David Leavitt after coming up short of the 60% vote in the state Republican Convention to clinch the GOP nomination. Former Atty. Gen. John Swallow, who resigned over a political scandal after less than a year in office, was eliminated in his bid to reclaim his old office.

That was a nice grandstanding picture in The Salt Lake Tribune of Attorney General Sean Reyes.

Do you really want to do some good and not waste taxpayers time and money? Please bring litigation against all of the robo calls that we all get in the state Of Utah. I can't answer my landline anymore for the 15 to 20 calls per day we get. I have to answer my cell phone because it may be a customer. Four of 5 phone calls I receive on my cell phone are robo calls. Both are on the do not call list.

Do us all a favor and save us all money and productivity and go after these companies. Please call a reporter at The Tribune and tell them what you are or will be doing with this illegal activity.

You said there is a fine line in the Google case. There is no fine line here. It is big and bold.
