Letter: You were joking about the homeless. Right?

(Trent Nelson | The Salt Lake Tribune) Chris Coons outside Salt Lake City's Main Library, where he participates in a tai chi class for homeless people, on Wednesday April 3, 2019.

I just finished reading the letter from Dan Mylecraine in the Sept. 2 Salt Lake Tribune. I must say it is one of the funniest epistles I have ever read.

Talking about how to "control" the homeless in our fair city: Folks running amok, defiling and contaminating, ruling the streets, the scourge. Hilarious!

And then following up with "solutions": roundups, bounties, reeducation camps, running them off.

Mr. Mylecraine, you have a career in stand-up comedy waiting for you.

Wait. You were kidding, weren't you?
