Letter: Lyman’s commentary shows his true colors on discrimination
(Rick Bowmer | AP file photo) Rep. Phil Lyman, R-Blanding, is shown on the floor at the Utah State Capitol, in Salt Lake City on Jan. 28, 2019.
I read, with a great deal of dismay, Phil Lyman’s loathsome and despicable opinion piece.
While it is indeed true, Mr. Lyman, that discrimination against indigenous people was not invented in San Juan County, you fail to explain why you gleefully revel in it.
That you could be elected to the office of dogcatcher is a stain and taint upon San Juan County and Utah as a whole.
