Letter: A dollar for your conscience

(Andres Leighton | AP Photo) Rene Aguilar and Jackie Flores pray at a makeshift memorial for the victims of Saturday's mass shooting at a shopping complex in El Paso, Texas, Sunday, August 4, 2019.

Now that I have finished crying over yet another mass shooting in this country, I have a message for all of the current and former elected officials who represent our state and nation:

There have been three mass shootings in the last week, add that to the last 20 years, and the hate filled violence has to stop! I’ll give you all $1 to buy yourselves a conscience, since you obviously don’t have one.

This is on you, and you have the nerve to call yourselves Christians? Shameful.
