Letter: Enough fake outrage about ‘racism’

(Carolyn Kaster | AP file photo) President Donald Trump speaks in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, Friday, July 26, 2019.

The context in which something is said is often removed and replaced with a political narrative that benefits the flavor of the day. The recent whining about President Donald Trump’s tweets regarding “the squad” is a perfect example.

A dose of intellectual honesty and ability to read would provide the truth. The president’s actual comments are on point and miles from being racist. What he is telling these incompetent imbeciles is go fix the problems in countries that are not great like the United States then come back and show us how it’s done.

That being said, the president and a good portion of the people in the United States know the “squad” couldn’t fix a lemonade stand, let alone another country. That’s why it’s a poignant comment and the only rebuttal liberals can muster is the same old, tired, out-of-date, useless accusation of being a racist.

Could liberals at least stop the fake outrage?
