I was slightly amused by Tab Uno’s letter of July 19 extending his thanks and congratulations to Utah drivers for their safe driving performance.
Apparently for Mr. Uno, traffic fatalities under, say, 300 a year, is an accomplishment deserving praise. I wonder if emergency room workers and insurance adjusters would echo his appreciation.
Based on my own road-going experience, I can only assume that Mr. Uno doesn't drive all that much.
