Letter: Trump should hang his head in shame

As a veteran of the U.S. Army, I am offended by the appearance of Private Bone Spur — aka Donald Trump — at the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion.
He has not gained the respect of Americans to represent the brave men and women who fought for our ideals and our freedom.
While Americans died in service to their country, Trump was living a luxury lifestyle provided by his father and his father’s money.
I ask that Trump stop parading himself around the world as a real American, and instead hide his head in shame.
