What is the dark secret in Donald Trump’s tax returns? That he’s broke?
I might could forgive the man for the contractors he stiffed, or for consorting with prostitutes and then using campaign money to cover it up, or the concentration camps for children his immigration policies have produced, or the trillion dollar budget deficits his tax cuts for the rich have left us.
But if he’s broke, he has crossed a line. One thing Americans will not tolerate is a loser.
