Letter: Trump is pro-communist

(Susan Walsh | Associated Press file photo) President Donald Trump holds a meeting with Chinese Vice Premier Liu He in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington on Jan. 31, 2019.

Whether dictated by circumstances or not, President Donald Trump is unhesitatingly pro-communist if we follow the rationales of his favoritism among competing autocrats around the world.

The dictators of North Korea, Russia, China and anywhere else appearing to offer power advantage are tops on Trump’s list of favorites.

I grew up getting three university majors, two of them in history and anthropology of those very autocratic regimes Trump now so loves. They were out-of-bounds, radically anti-U.S. and pro-communist.

Presidents just don’t do this sort of thing, under any circumstance. Any Congress and administration that accepts this stance is, in turn, functionally and practically pro-communist, as well.
