Letter: Do I have to wear a hijab?

(Jordi Perdigo | Associated Press file photo) A Ghanan woman helps a customer to set up a hijab inside her workshop in Accra, Ghana, in January 2018.

So, if I’m unwilling to wear a hijab, can a doctor refuse to see me on religious grounds?

A small handful of Muslims believe they can’t interact with bare-headed women. If medical professionals can refuse to provide information on birth control or abortion on religious grounds, what prevents others from refusing to serve women who chose to leave their heads uncovered?

It’s apparent, as usual, our “president” has not thought through his latest fiat; or is it a tweeiat?
