Letter: What’s wrong with America and the press

Joe Biden’s candidacy for president highlights much of what is wrong with America and the press.

A big fuss is being made of Biden gently kissing the back of a female Democrat’s head. Have you never kissed your children’s head to comfort or encourage them? Meanwhile, everyone seems to have forgotten about Donald Trump’s paying for sex and boasting of grabbing women by the genitals.

He bamboozles his base into thinking he’s a leader by hogging the press, but all his initiatives are negative, e.g., withdrawal from multiple international accords, cutting climate protections, trying to rescind Obamacare, new tariffs. His rating with European allies is now lower than Vladimir Putin’s and Xi Jinping’s.

To date, Trump has officially lied more than 9,000 times as president. Have his supporters (including Utah’s congressmen) no shame?
