Letter: Lawmakers know they can get away with ignoring the people
(Rick Egan | Tribune file photo) New Senate President Stuart Adams conducts business in the Utah State Senate on the first day of the 2019 legislative session at the Utah State Capitol, Monday, Jan. 28, 2019.
The saddest thing about the Utah Legislature ignoring the will of the citizens of this state on Propositions 2 and 3 is that they know they can do what they want and get away with it.
When the next election rolls around, most people will still vote for the candidates with the ”R“ by their name.
