Letter: I gave the president a chance

Being an independent leaning more to the left than right, I was dismayed when President Trump was elected. However, I vowed in a commentary in The Salt Lake Tribune that I would support the POTUS on two conditions.
One, that he would become informed on presidential topics before acting or speaking. And, two, that he would conduct himself in a presidential manner.
Two years have passed, and I am weaning myself off reading about the POTUS, listening to the POTUS or discussing the POTUS. I can only describe him with a term that I'm sure isn't listed in Webster's — Idiotspeak.
This term, which is not recognized by spell check, seems best to sum up how I feel about our POTUS. Sad.
