Letter: A fond farewell to The New Yorker

My heart is full of fond memories of The New Yorker restaurant, as it was such a part of my life over the past 40 years: birthday celebrations, book club gatherings, the opportunity of the shuttle service, after fine dining, to the ballet, opera and symphony (a very nice perk). Memories of friends who still are in my life, memories of friends who have passed on.
The food was always delicious and plated so beautifully, the staff was amazingly attentive and so engaging. Walking down the stairs was a visual treat with each season, looking forward to what had been planted in the little garden that greeted diners as we approached the door, to then enter (I believe) the most charming restaurant Salt Lake City has ever known.
Goodbye, and thanks for the memories. And for booth 12!
