Letter: Vote against Romney’s political poppycock

The definition of “political persuasion” is “whatever appeals to emotions, using a sticking point of conviction and promises; thereby taking hold of another’s will.”

A strategy straight out of a current TV ad, stating the crisis and declaring great power and future success, complete with lofty guarantees and answers. Unfortunately, the usual flip-flop, up-and-down platform continues on, much like the lost 1994 election against a formidable Sen. Ted Kennedy. Who should inherit the royal Hatch crown?

Mike Kennedy deserves the Senate nomination simply because his hidden agenda happens to be for this state and its hard-working citizens — not a CNN guest spot.

Utahns unite against political prestige and poppycock!
