Mia Love stated after the Parkland, Fla., shooting that something has to be done, but let’s not rush into anything. This year alone there has been an average of one shooting every week, just in schools, and nothing has been done.
Gun rights advocates have donated $61,000 to Love’s campaign. Maybe this is the reason for not rushing into anything. This is blood money. The NRA didn’t donate this money just because it thought Love is cute. When you decide to take some action on this subject, Mia, outlawing bump stocks is like putting a band-aid on an elephant.
