Letter: Gas-gouging is back, right on schedule — thanks, Trump

(Al Hartmann | The Salt Lake Tribune) Gas station near Trolley Square lists regular gas at $3.03 per gallon Tuesday, April 18, 2018. Most stations around Salt Lake City are charging around $3. Utah has the ninth highest prices nationally, and they will go up as we get into spring and summer and more people hit the road.

Am I the only person who is pissed off by the increase in gas prices lately? I don’t believe that the cost of oil production has become more expensive since March, but the price at the pump (over $3 per gallon) can only be traced back to the traditional gouging that we all suffer this time of year.

Thank you to the oil company barons and their partner in crime, Donald J. Trump!
