Letter: Curtis owes us an apology

(Trent Nelson | The Salt Lake Tribune) Former Provo police chief John King participates in a discussion about hate crimes in Salt Lake City on Thursday August 4, 2016.

In reference to Rep. John Curtis and Provo’s former police chief, John King:

Under no circumstances should you ever, ever complain about your ability to fundraise as a result of lying to protect a predator. John King ruined lives and you kept him in a position to do it and then you let him go with praise and a party. How this affects you is not important. Helping his victims is the only important thing right now.

Apologize to them, apologize to us, and stop making excuses for your sorry behavior.
