Students for a Democratic Society at the University of Utah stands in solidarity with all immigrants, documented and undocumented. We call on everyone to take a stand and demand legalization for all, not just for the 3.6 million Dreamers, but for the 11.3 million undocumented people who live in the United States. We demand sanctuary and citizenship for all undocumented people, and we demand this from our administrators, our mayors and our elected officials.

Ruth Watkins, Jackie Biskupski, Orrin Hatch, Mike Lee and all others who were elected to serve the people, until you offer sanctuary and real solutions, we will be in the streets reminding you of your duty. We must start treating immigrants as human beings instead of statistical fodder for political purposes.
