Letter: Why vote when one old, rich, white man is bound to be replaced by another?

(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) Mitt Romney is pursued by the media hoping to get an answer to a possible run for senate after he spoke at the Utah Economic Outlook & Policy Summit 2018, hosted by the Salt Lake Chamber at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown at City Creek on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018.

May I make a suggestion? Why bother with an expensive, unnecessary election process replacing Orrin Hatch? In fact, if there is an election process, why would anyone bother to vote? Replacing one old, rich, white man with another is apparently the Utah way. In fact, why do I continue to vote in every Utah election? That for me is the $64,000 question.
