Letter: Bagley's pollution cartoon not reality — consider Castle Country

This Pat Bagley cartoon appears in The Salt Lake Tribune on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017.

My sympathies for those who are enduring the continuing days of the inversion on the Wasatch Front. However, Pat Bagley’s attempt at humor in his cartoon caption, “Congratulations ‘hack’ you’re all getting coal for Christmas,” is not reality. Maybe the real reasons include the vast amount of smoke from the current devastating fires in California and the congestion of vehicles stuck on the freeways.

I cordially invite Bagley to visit our scenic Castle Country and enjoy our beautiful blue skies instead of the Wasatch inversion, located in the same area of three large coal fired power plants. By the way, feel free to bring along others that may want to live here or relocate their businesses.
