Letter: It’s time for primitive men like Moore and Trump to grow up

The recent focus on men and their mistaken attitudes is long overdue. Given the woman is generally weaker than the man, physically, does not mean she can be insulted embarrassed, harassed or physically assaulted nor interpreted in that manner. The primitive male throwback of the present has somehow missed maturing emotionally and intellectually.

Those of piety like Judge Roy Moore have misunderstood what they may have read (if they can or do read) and in their misinterpretation spout religious dogma displaying a malignancy in thought. They would for some sort and moment of pleasure bring a lifetime of emotional trauma to a young child, middle teen, or grown woman.

These males are sick, cowards and criminal by action, their distortion of reason covered by a layer so callous that their pleadings are as Trump said, “when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything, they don’t’ mind, they just let me do it.”

Regarding this matter, men have got to grow up. This isn’t a woman’s issue, Alabama’s issue, or a POTUS issue. It is a defining issue, one that determines the emotional and physical standard: “Am I truly a man?”
