Much like Saturday, the temperature in northern Utah on Sunday will remain warm for this time of year. The National Weather Service predicts Salt Lake City will have a high temperature of about 50 degrees.
The warmth also means that precipitation that would land as snow will instead be rain. The Weather Service is calling for an 80 percent chance Sunday in Salt Lake City and a 40 percent chance in St. George.
The trend will continue through the week as daytime temperatures for northern Utah valleys remain in the 40s and 50s, and significant-to-likely chances of rain stick around, too.
