A 10th defendant indicted on allegations of misusing food stamps is in custody.

Rulon Mormon Barlow surrendered about 12:45 p.m. Saturday. He was booked into the Washington County jail in Hurricane. He will appear Monday before a federal judge in St. George, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.

Barlow is charged with one count of fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit fraud. The potential penalty for the conspiracy count is five years in prison. The money laundering count carries a potential penalty of 20 years in prison.

Barlow served as the general manager of Meadowayne Dairy Store and is accused of transferring food stamp fraud proceeds to accounts associated with Quality Wholesale Distributors.
