Salt Lake City mayoral candidates attack David Garbett’s plan to move oil refinery as empty hype

(Francisco Kjolseth | The Salt Lake Tribune) David Garbett has said that if elected mayor he plans to move the Marathon Refinery at 474 W 900 North in Salt Lake City. Other candidates are accusing him of manipulating voters with an impossible claim. Marathon, the only refinery in Salt Lake City proper, is a private business over which he'd have no authority to move.
