Reed Hastings’ Powder Mountain announces $40M upgrade. Here’s what it means for skiers.

The investment will expand public terrain and base facilities as development also continues in the private Powder Haven enclave.

(Courtesy of Powder Mountain) A new, public lift to the area known as DMI, short for Don't Mention It, is planned for the 2026-27 season. It will open up more than a thousand acres of skiing and snowboarding that previously was reserved for guided tours.
