A map released by Powder Mountain shows it plans to offer three new lifts and some additional vertical over the next two seasons — mostly to the benefit of the ski resort’s homeowners.
This winter, the Eden-area ski and snowboard resort will unveil Primetime. The private lift, accessible only by Powder Haven homeowners and their guests, will provide access to the resort’s newly acquired Davenport terrain. Per the Powder Haven website, the area features “1,000 gnarly acres of powdery glades and cut runs on the northeast face of the mountain.” Last season, the resort ran private snowcat tours in the area.
Primetime will terminate atop Cobabe Canyon in the same area as the private Raintree lift that was installed last season. According to the website Lift Blog, the Leitner-Poma detachable quad lift will extend Powder Mountain’s vertical to 3,346 feet.
In addition, for the 2026-27 season, Powder Mountain has one private lift, called Half Pint, planned and could potentially also put up a new public lift, according to a map published on the Powder Haven website.

Half Pint will take homeowners from the top of Village Lift — which was converted from public to private last season — up into the 39-residence Shelter Hill neighborhood. A spokesperson for Powder Mountain noted that Half Pint will not add any new terrain to the resort.
It will, however, serve as a conduit to the member clubhouse the resort plans to unveil in time for the 2027-28 season. Dubbed the Arclodge, the 73,000-square-foot lodge is designed to house ski lockers, a climbing wall, thermal pools and an outdoor heated pool. Per the Powder Haven website, it will also offer omakase — a Japanese dining experience in which the chefs design a meal around the freshest ingredients and their whims.
The Powder Haven map shows a public lift in the works for the 2026-27 season. It would provide access to an area known as Don’t Mention It, or DMI, by linking Wolf Creek Canyon with the top of Sundown.

The plan to expand into DMI was first revealed in 2024, when Powder Mountain announced its acquisition of the Davenport terrain. A press release said bringing DMI — which last year was open only to guided tours — inbounds would open up an additional 900 acres of lift-served terrain and 147 acres of hike-to terrain. In total, that would add 1,047 acres to Powder Mountain’s claim as the largest ski area in North America by acreage.
However, a resort spokesperson said Thursday that the map is outdated and that no season has been determined for the installation of the DMI lift. The area holds some of the most steep and expert terrain at Powder Mountain, and operations crews are being methodical about planning out terrain and avalanche mitigation for the area, the spokesperson said.

The Powder Mountain ski area wraps up its first season under Netflix cofounder Reed Hastings's experiment of taking some lifts private while leaving other public.
The spokesperson confirmed the timeline for the Primetime and Half Pint lifts were accurate.
With the addition of those three lifts, Powder Mountain will have built a total of five new lifts and upgraded two more since Netflix cofounder Reed Hastings took over ownership of the foundering ski area in 2023. Two other lifts have been converted from public to private as Hastings pursues his novel endeavor to create a partially private, partially public ski area.
The DMI and Half Pint lifts are located in Weber County, which has a development agreement with Powder Mountain. The Primetime lift was approved by the Cache County Planning Commission in April. The commission also had to fast-track the Raintree and Lightning Ridge lifts since the resort has no approved master plan on file with that county.
Powder Mountain submitted a master plan for approval last October. Cache County officials expect to review the plan — which includes rezoning 1,600 acres from forest recreation to resort recreation — at their September and October meetings. At their August meeting, county staff recommended the commission make its decision before the end of the calendar year.
