Fire breaks out at Bullfrog Marina on Lake Powell

The fire’s cause and damages are not yet known.

A “houseboat fire” burned at Bullfrog Marina on Lake Powell on Thursday night, according to the National Park Service. The fire is still under investigation.

There is no word on the extent of the damages, but posts on social media show a large blaze on at least one of the slips.

Another fire at Wahweap Marina on Lake Powell on June 2 resulted in the damage of several houseboats. The National Park Service stated that it was unable to determine the source of the fire, but that it was accidental.
