An 18-year-old man was in critical condition following a drive-by shooting in Ogden on Thursday.

Ogden police responded to a shots-fired call in the 2300 block of Van Buren Avenue shortly after noon Thursday. There, police found the man, who had been shot multiple times, said police Lt. Danielle Croyle.

The man, a Roy resident, was taken to the hospital, Croyle said.

Police have "very limited" suspect information — but police are looking for "a possible suspect vehicle," described as a silver car, Croyle said.

Police encourage anyone with information to call them at 801-629-8221. Callers may remain anonymous, Croyle said.

The 2300 block of Van Buren Avenue was shut down while police investigated.
