Thousands hit city streets for Salt Lake City Marathon
Runners and bikers were off bright and early Saturday.

Over 10,000 runners and bikers made their way through Salt Lake City for the annual Salt Lake City Marathon on Saturday, according to the organization’s Facebook page.
Along with the full marathon, they held a half marathon, 10K, 5K, bike tour and single kilometer run for kids.
The full marathon route started at Olympic Legacy Bridge before looping around in downtown Holladay and finishing at Library Square.
As of about 3:30 p.m., this year’s results had not yet been posted on the organization’s website.
