A new virus may be in town. Although, the illness isn’t related to COVID-19 this time.

The Salt Lake County Health Department announced two possible cases of monkeypox on Monday.

While the county awaits the test results of two Utahns suspected of having monkeypox from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Sankar Swaminathan, an infectious disease expert at the University of Utah joined ‘The Daily Buzz’ to discuss if Utahns should be worried about the virus.

And there’s another shortage that’s plaguing the grocery store shelves: baby formula. Women’s Issues reporter Becky Jacobs explains what state officials are doing to ease the burden.
