A 66-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in Vernal at about 8 a.m. Saturday morning.
According to a post from the Vernal Police Department, the man was hit at the crosswalk at 500 West Main Street, which is also a portion of U.S. 40 that winds through Vernal. First responders determined the pedestrian was deceased, and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
