Two women were found dead in the La Sal mountains southeast of Moab, the Grand County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
Officials say the women were found in the South Mesa area of La Sal Loop Road. The names of the women have not been released pending notification of their relatives.
The sheriff’s office said the bodies are being transported to the medical examiner’s office as they begin their investigation.
