Salt Lake City is great for cats, study says
Only Miami and Orlando ranked better for felines, according to a survey.

Salt Lake City is the third-best city in America for cats, according to a pet care company.
OneVet ranked 50 major cities based on several cat-friendly criteria — number of pet-friendly rentals, number of veterinarians, number of cat adoptions in 2020, number of cat cafes, and number of pet stores.
The most cat-friendly cities are:
1. Miami
2. Orlando
3. Salt Lake City
4. Pittsburgh
5. Cincinnati
6. Atlanta
7. Denver
8. Minneapolis
9. Tampa
10. Riverside, Calif.
(OneVet) Salt Lake City is No. 3 on a list of best cities for cats.
Salt Lake City ranked fifth for per capita cat adoptions in 2020, with 981 per 100,000 people.
By the way, the study found the worst cities for cats are:
1. New York
2. Memphis
3. New Orleans
4. Jacksonville, Fla.
5. Phoenix
6. Los Angeles
7. Detroit
8. San Francisco
9. Houston
10. Virginia Beach, Va.
