Structures no longer threatened in Cache County

Ant Flat Fire was caused by lightning.

A new fire in Cache County was 10% contained on Wednesday afternoon, according to Utah Fire Info.

The “Ant Flat Fire,” which was caused by lightning, is burning off of Ant Flat Road near East Fork Little Bear River. The fire was threatening structures around 4 p.m., but was no longer doing so by 5:15 p.m.

The fire is currently 10% contained and firefighters are making progress, according to Utah Fire Info.
