19-year-old man killed in shooting at South Jordan graduation party

Police have arrested one person and are searching for other suspects

Police have one person in custody and are searching for other suspects after a 19-year-old man was shot to death at a high school graduation party in South Jordan early Sunday morning.

According to police, witnesses reported the shooting outside a home near 1450 West and 11400 South shortly before 2 a.m.

Kelly Glaubensklee and “another group of individuals” got into a fight, police said. The fight was broken up, but as a vehicle was driving away from the scene, one or more people inside fired 13 shots.

Glaubensklee was struck once in the chest. He was taken to a hospital, where he died shortly thereafter. No one else was injured.

Police are searching for four suspects and have taken one juvenile into custody. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call South Jordan police at 801-840-4000.
