Jill Biden to visit Utah next week

Details about the first lady’s trip have not been released.

First lady Jill Biden will visit Salt Lake City on Wednesday.

The White House announced the trip on Friday. No information was released about the purpose of the trip. She will also Las Vegas, Nev., on Wednesday and visit Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Thursday.

It is her second trip out west in less than a month.

She met with students in the Navajo Nation last week as part of a brief tour of the Southwest, The Associated Press reports. She also visited vaccine clinics and met with female tribal leaders.

Dr. Biden came to Salt Lake City in 2020 to visit with donors.
