Layton police announced Sunday that they found two girls who were reported missing on Wednesday night.
Eva Kosanovich-Ware, 15, and Autumn Mayo, 14, had run away together from a mental health facility in Layton on Wednesday. Lt. Travis Lyman of the Layton Police Department said the girls had left the facility through a window.
Both girls are originally from California and are in Utah for treatment, according to Amber Mayo, Autumn’s mother. She said one of the girls has a history of suicidal ideation and is on antidepressants, but had been without her medication for some time.
