Utah house fire kills at least one person

Logan police are investigating the cause of the blaze.

Logan police are investigating a house fire that killed a resident early Friday morning.

Authorities released no details about the fire, which broke out at a home near 60 E. 200 South at about 5 a.m., except that it claimed the life of “at least one victim.” The identities of the victim or victims have not been released.

The Logan City Police Department released a statement that it is investigating the fatal fire “in coordination with the Utah State Fire Marshal’s office.”
