17-year-old arrested after shooting that killed one man, wounded two at Salt Lake City park

A 17-year-old has been arrested after three men were shot at a Salt Lake City park on Sunday. One of the men has died, according to police.

At about 4 p.m. Sunday, Salt Lake City police received reports of a shooting at Tanner Park, near Parley’s Canyon at 2695 E. Heritage Way. When officers arrived, they found three men who had suffered gunshot wounds.

All three were rushed to hospitals. A 25-year-old man, whose name has not been released, later died of his wounds.

Police have released no further information about the suspect or the arrest.
