The DMV office in Draper will reopen Monday, a week after it was closed because an employee there tested positive for COVID-19.
“The office has been deep cleaned, sterilized, and employees have been cleared to return to work,” said Monte Roberts, director of the Department of Motor Vehicles.
All DMV locations, including the Draper office at 14555 S. Minuteman Drive, require members of the public to make appointments (at dmv.utah.gov). And face masks are required for everyone who enters the office.
Customers who plan to pay in cash are “encouraged” to pay with exact change. “In a strange side effect of COVID-19, obtaining large amounts of change from banks has become difficult, affecting our ability to give exact change with cash payments,”” according to a DMV news release.
