A 10-year-old boy was killed Tuesday in a dirt-bike accident in Eagle Mountain.
Traygen Shane Johnson was riding his dirt bike Tuesday afternoon in a neighborhood near Golden Eagle Road and Mohican Drive. He lost control of the bike, hit a curb and crashed into a tree, said Sgt. Spencer Cannon of the Utah County Sheriff’s Office.
Johnson, who lived in the area, was wearing a helmet, Cannon said. He died at the scene, despite life-saving efforts by paramedics.
The family has set up a GoFundMe account to cover funeral expenses at: www.gofundme.com/f/treagan-shane-johnson-funeral-expenses.
The page says that Johnson loved watching the Utah Jazz play. He caught snakes and chased dogs. And he wanted to be like his dad.
