Giant pumpkins — some weighing thousands of pounds — set sail on Oquirrh Lake in South Jordan Saturday, as paddlers in costume competed in the annual Ginormous Pumpkin Regatta.

Luke Zander, dressed as the Riddler and sporting a shock of green hair, finished in first place. Lisa Radke came in second.

The event at Daybreak included harvest festival activities, such as a petting zoo, pie eating contest and crafts.
