Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in elderly assault

The Roy City Police Department is seeking help from the public in identifying a man sought in an assault case.
According to FOX 13, the man is suspected of assaulting an elderly man at the Country Meadows Trailer Park. Photos of the suspect show him wearing a blue baseball cap and a blue t-shirt with an American flag graphic. He was driving a dark Chevrolet pickup truck with Nevada plates.
Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call (801) 629-8221 and reference Roy Police case #19RO9111.
The Roy City Police Department also spoke to the suspect directly on their Facebook.
“If this is you, please call us,” the Facebook post read. “Otherwise your friends will see this and call us, we like to cut out the middle man.”
