Oh, no! More snow is expected on Wednesday.

(Rick Egan | The Salt Lake Tribune) The snowstorm that hit downtown Salt Lake City on Friday won't be the last of the season. Another storm is expected in Utah on Wednesday.

After getting a taste of spring on Tuesday, Utahns will be force fed another helping of winter on Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will rise to about 50 on Tuesday — but a cold front will bring snow and high winds to much of the area Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

The storm will make for a “slick commute” Wednesday morning on I-15 from Farmington to Cedar City and on I-80 from Tooele all the way to southwest Wyoming, with high temperatures reaching only the mid-30s.

Lake-effect snow will bring accumulations to areas south and southeast of the Great Salt Lake. Salt Lake City may get 2-3 inches, with 6-8 inches in Tooele; an inch in Ogden, Brigham City and Logan; 2-3 inches in Park City; 1-2 inches in Provo; 4-6 inches in Nephi; and 3-4 inches in Millard and Cedar City.

The storm is expected to clear out by Thursday, with temperatures rising into the 50s by the weekend.
