Murray police are investigating after a man who made an “unwanted entry” into a home was shot and killed by the homeowner on Sunday night.
According to police, the man entered the home near 440 E. 5900 South about 7 p.m. on Sunday without the permission of the homeowner, who confronted the man and fired multiple shots. Murray Police identified the intruder as Andrew W. Miller, 32. They have not released the identity of the homeowner.
Police believe the two men did not know one another. The investigation into exactly what happened continues, and police say the homeowner is cooperating.
